Benefits of Microsuction Ear Wax Removal
The procedure is carried out by a trained experienced and registered ear care professional who has an excellent full view of the ear canal at all times so your safety is ensured.
All ear wax is normally removed at the first appointment and on average the procedure takes 20 minutes. So your waiting and in clinic times are significantly reduced.
MICROSUCTIONBy far the safest form of ear wax removal mostly because unlike syringing or irrigation when we carry out wax removal by micro suction we have full visibility of the procedure. Another benefit of microsuction wax removal is it can be carried out almost immediately with no requirement to put oil in for a week beforehand.
This results in a far more convenient way to have ear wax removed especially if you have to go on holiday within the week!
Microsuction ear wax removal is also safe for people who have had middle ear problems especially perforated ear drums and problems with vertigo.
Same Day Bookings Available
£35 for one ear or £45 for both*
*99.9% of ear wax can be removed the same day. If you have used a cotton bud you may have impacted the wax and it may be too hard to remove with one appointment. We would advise a few days oil before a visit if this is the case. If you require a second appointment because of cotton bud use this will be charged @ £20.
IRRIGATIONIf for some reason we are unable to offer you a microsuction ear wax removal we will offer wax removal by irrigation. Unlike syringing which is a forced entry of lukewarm water into the ear which can't be regulated for pressure and in some instances cause damage to the ear drum or cause extreme vertigo irrigation is a controlled stream of water that gently flows around the ear canal until the wax is removed.
Where possible we will always try and offer you microsuction as we feel this is by far the safest form of ear wax removal.
